ONETax is a fully integrated, multi-year system for Tax Departments in county government.  We – our company and our customers -- have designed the system to meet the unique needs of North Carolina tax departments and the other county departments with whom it must exchange information.

As of March 2005, ONETax system is fully operational in North Carolina counties ranging in size from 15,000 to 90,000 parcels.  2005 is its 14th year collecting taxes and valuing real property.

ONETax provides thin-client, server programming that will meet the needs of the extended Tax department, including the following application areas:

Stored File module.

Stored Files links and retrieve scanned images, worker notes, saved emails, merged forms, photographs -- any file in a streaming data format on any server that ONETax can “see”.   ONETax counties now use Stored Files to access .pdf files of assessment notices and photographs of real parcels.   

Smart Template module.

Smart Templates pulls variable data from the ONETax database, then merges that data into a Word document, and maintains a linkage from the database to the file stored on a network drive.  This new capability marries the power of the ONETax database with the formatting capabilities of Microsoft Word.
