STEPS   Processing the Monthly Vehicle File

Every month you receive a file from the North Carolina Department of Motor Vehicles containing the vehicles that have been registered and that are now ready for ad valorum property tax billing.  These are the steps you will take every month to situs and bill the taxes and fees on the vehicles.  Print this page and use the check box column to track your progress every month.

After you prepare the vehicles for billing, you will go through the STEPS Registered Vehicle Billing sequence.
